We are currently hiring for 2 positions:
1. Sales Floor Lead (Full Time: 38 - 40 hours per week)
2. Sales Associate (Part Time: 16 - 28 hours per week)
- 2 years of previous leadership experience (in a retail store or similar environment)
- Outdoor Industry experience is a HUGE PLUS but not an absolute requirement
- Reliability & professionalism in communication
- Customer service skills/experience
- Ability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Sound decision making when challenged by the unexpected
- Kind, compassionate, confident & able to work well in a team setting
- Able to deliver critical feedback & delegate responsibility effectively
- Ability to use basic technology (google suite products, POS register system, etc.)
- Willingness to continue learning & growing in your role!
The Sales Floor Lead's number one priority is to guide our staff towards fulfilling the daily needs of the business. You will work with the leadership team to help assess the priorities of each shift and effectively delegate responsibilities to staff members. You will ensure that customers are well attended to, the sales floor remains organized & "shoppable," and that staff members are fulfilling their daily responsibilities.
You will also be responsible for:
- Opening & closing the store
- Assisting the staffing manager with staff training & development
- Providing exceptional customer service in-person & over the phone
- Ensuring that consignment items are appropriately tagged & merchandised in-store
- Ensuring 10+ photos of consignment products are uploaded to our website each day
- Maintaining a clean work environment & delegating daily cleaning responsibilities to staff
- Promoting a fun & empathetic work culture. Ensuring that staff remain happy & motivated
- Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends
- Interest and/or experience in outdoor activities (hiking, camping, climbing, biking, paddling, etc.)
- Kind, compassionate & confident
- Ability to use basic technology (google suite products, POS register system, etc.)
- Customer service skills/experience
- Willingness to continue learning & growing in your role!
- Providing exceptional customer service in-person & over the phone
- Tagging incoming consignment products & neatly displaying them on the sales floor
- Attending to dressing rooms & returning clothing to the appropriate section in the store
- Taking/uploading photos of consignment products to our website each day
- Maintaining a clean work environment & contributing to daily cleaning tasks
