“This is Susie (my name for her), the Rosy Maple Moth! I almost stepped on her in the bathroom of Cheoah Point Campground in Robbinsville, NC while camping. There were tulip poplar petals all over and I thought she was just another one and I was able to notice her at the last minute! I found a small stick and quickly relocated her outside and out of the path of other feet before she became part of a shoe print. She may be the most beautiful moth I've ever seen!”
