The Daniel Boone council, Boy Scouts of America is a youth serving organization located in Asheville, North Carolina, providing character and leader ship development programs to the young men and women in the 14 counties of western North Carolina. We have nearly 1900 youth with 900 adult volunteers serving as positive adult role models. The scouts BSA program is designed to have scouts (and leaders) volunteer to support their local communities. These projects stem from trash pick up, placing flags at veterans cemeteries for holidays, eagle projects, working with local community nonprofits, and supporting their neighbors in need.
