We do. Quite literally. For 20 years, we have made a living through the core philosophy of giving second chances. Whether it was for gently used gear, once beloved apparel, community members looking for a chance at another adventure, or a new member joining our team looking for a fresh start in their own personal journey. Second Gear is, and will always be, a place for second chances.

But what would our story be next? Well, with the overwhelming support of so many of you and the unending passion of our amazing team, SECOND GEAR HAS FOUND A NEW HOME!

In what was once the space that held Frugal Backpacker, next to Earth Fare in the nearby Westgate Shopping Center, Second Gear will shine brightly for others to see...second chances are for everyone. Just mere steps away from our destroyed 99 Riverside Dr, we have already begun filling the new space with our determination and excitement to serve our community once again. We can’t offer the exact date for opening yet, but we are aiming for early December, with a form of consignment intake that will take place before our doors officially open (please stay tuned for more info as we move along in the journey).

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again to each and every one of you that has held out a hand to lift others out of the darkness. We can't wait to welcome you to our new home and see your beautiful smiling faces.
