Being a Second Gear Ambassador means you've chosen to help represent the coolest outdoor gear consignment store in the country!

We help our Ambassadors gear up for great adventures and Ambassadors help us to generate great photo & video content from those adventures! It's a win-win 😎

There's no one size fits all policy for what makes a great ambassador but in general we're looking for a combination of the following:

• Lives in the Asheville area or surrounding region
• Regularly goes on photo-worthy adventures (hiking, biking, camping, climbing, paddling, etc.)
• Enjoys & has equipment suitable for taking high-quality photo & video content of their adventures (Smartphones are acceptable)
• Has an active social media presence in the outdoor industry community
• Is a great communicator
• Enjoys shopping at Second Gear and wearing/using the brands of clothing & outdoor gear that we sell
• Is a responsible & respectful member of our community - someone who will represent Second Gear in a positive light.

In general, you'll be expected to provide Second Gear with consistent photo & video content from your outdoor adventures each month in order to keep your ambassadorship benefits active.

We'll work with you on a monthly basis to come up with a content schedule that makes sense and works around your adventure schedule.

We'll also regularly send out specific content requests to our ambassadors and will offer up store credit bonuses and free or highly discounted products.
